제목 Ionic Liquids for Lithium Battery Systems; Calculation of Liquid-Liquid Phase Equilibria for Systems Containing Ionic Liquid Using PHSC Model
초록 Ionic liquids (ILs) arouse a huge interesting because they have a lot of attractive properties such as non-flammability and non-volatility. In spite of these suitable advantages, immediately application for lithium battery systems is unjustifiable without comparing original system’s conductivity and efficiency. Therefore, in this paper, we have derived a modified ionic liquid thermodynamic model based on the modified perturbed hard-sphere-chain (PHSC) EOS to show liquid-liquid equilibrium diagram in Ionic liquid phase and liquid electrolyte phase. Quantitative descriptions from the proposed model equation are in good agreement with application for the given lithium battery systems. The obtained results show that Ionic Liquid’s phase behavior diagrams play a good role in substituting existing electrolyte materials.
