제목 Microphase separation in Polylactide-Poly(ethylene glycol)-Polylactide triblock copolymer films as studied with atomic force microscopy
초록 This study examined the microdomain structures and the crystallization behavior in blends consisting of asymmetric block copolymer using atomic force microscopy, differential scanning calorimetry and thermogravimetric analyzer. Structured surface is an important property of bio-materials polymer, for its capacity to expose domains with different surface energy and functional groups. Amphiphilic A-B-A block copolymers with polylactide (PLA) as A blocks and poly(ethylene grycol) as B block were synthesized by ring-openning polymerization using tin(ΙΙ) octanoate (Sn(Oct)₂) as a catalyst. Experimental films formation is paid to the control of the surface morphology(both hydrophilic domains (PEG) fixed and hydrophobic domains (PLA) ). The copolymer are analyzed as spin coated films, which characteristics depend on the solvent concentration and the annealing condition.
