제목 APPLICATION OF ORGANIC POLYSILANE TO INFORMATION DEVICES
초록 Polysilanes, which contain only Si in their backbones, provide large change of physical and chemical properties by UV exposure such as approximately 6% of reflective index declining. Reduction of organochlorosilanes with Mg metal as a reducing agent gave high-purity polysilanes in good yield, proved to be suitable for an industrial process. Polymethylphenylsilane (PMPS) were compounded with perhydropolysilazane (PHPSz) to improve heat resistance and with PMPS/PHPSz composite optical waveguide mode-conversion filters were fabricated and successfully demonstrated its operation in both visible (633 nm) and infrared (1310 nm) wavelength ranges.
