제목 Charge tranport study of organic materials by Monte Carlo simulation and Time-of-Flight method
초록 Recently, many organic compounds have come to be realized as new semi-conducting material for active devices. Especially, P3HT and pentacene is considered as good semi-conducting organic materials since they exhibit high field effect mobility. To improve conducting properties of organic compounds it is necessary to know how charge carriers are transported. In this study we report Monte Carlo simulation which can account for charge carrier transport of hopping system. This simulation is different from previous one since because our approach does not assume the fixed hopping site. By this simulation we can find a transition from non-dispersive transport to dispersive transport of hopping system. We also studied the drift mobility of solution processed P3HT and thermally evaporated pentacene by Time-of-Flight method at various temperature and compared it with Monte Carlo simulation.
