제목 Effect of magnetic field on the growth of pentacene crystalline films toward p-type OTFT
초록 Significant developments in OTFT performance have been made during the last two decades after the first noticeable report of OTFT in 1986. The relatively low carrier mobility of the organic semiconducting materials has restricted the applications requiring very high switching speeds. However, the characteristics and performance of OTFT suggest that they can be used in some applications requiring large area coverage, low temperature processing, mechanical flexibility and low cost.

Among the various issues about OTFT, emphasis is given to the crystal growth of pentacene toward p-type OTFT in this study. A new concept of magnetic field effect on crystal growth was proposed. Vacuum evaporation technique was used to prepare the organic thin film. The magnetic filed(MF) on the growth of pentacene crystal was applied in the perpendicular direction and parallel direction to the substrate. The film morphology of the deposited films was examined with Atomic Force Microscope(AFM) and X-Ray Diffractometer(XRD).
