Microfluidic Generation of Solid Graphene Oxide Shelled Monodisperese Bubbles |
초록 |
Microfluidic synthesis is a powerful toolkit for creating monodisperse and uniform particles with tunable physi-co-chemical properties. In this study we report a new class of hollow solid shelled sphere based on graphene oxide (GO) nanoplates by using microfluidic gas-in-oil-in-water compound bubbles as templates and study their stability against gas dissolution using alkylated graphene oxide nanosheets. The generated compound bubbles can evolve to form either stable spherical shapes or polyhedral deformed shapes depending on their stability against dissolution. Such characteristic can be attributed to the shell inhomogeneity, which is determined by the different synthesis methods for the preparation of alkylated GO sheets, leading to varied degree alkylation on GO sheets. Furthermore, it can be extended by exploiting solid-state bubbles as a building block for creating hierarchical architected materials, which can promise light weight, mechanical reinforcement, and optical properties. |
