Transparent conducting electrodes have been widely used in optoelectronic devices such as solar cells, displays, and touch screen panels (TSPs). Highly flexible transparent conducting electrodes are especially desired for the development of next generation flexible optoelectronic devices. However, indium tin oxide (ITO), which is commonly used material as transparent conducting electrodes (TCEs), is not suitable as transparent electrodes for flexible devices because it is brittle and cracks easily under mechanical stress. To addressed issues, metal nanowires (AgNWs) have been attracting increasing attention because of its effective combination of electrical and optical properties. In this work, we demonstrate the fabrication of highly efficient, flexible and air stable organic solar cells (OSCs) using Ag NWs films which have a superior mechanical, electrical and optical properties. |
