Improved conductive Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrene sulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS)electrode films were made through hybridization with gold nanoparticle-doped single-walled carbon nanotubes (Au-doped SWCNTs). The hybrid layers consisted of the PEDOT:PSS chains interconnected between Au-doped SWCNT random networks were found to have better up to three times in conductivity than the value for the PEDOT:PSS alone. Various concentration of gold nanoparticles generated at 5-10nm size were incorporated onto the wall of CNTs. The optimized PEDOT:PSS / Au doped-SWCNTs films showed high performance with a low sheet resistance of 50 Ω/sq at 85% transparence when PEDOT : PSS was hybridized with Au-doped SWCNTs of 1-2wt%. |
