제목 Influence of sulfation treatment on the ceria-doped V/Sb/Ti catalyst for the selective catalytic reduction of NOx by NH3
초록 The V/Sb/Ce/Ti catalyst prepared by sulfation (500 °C for 1 h) was investigated for the selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NOx with NH3. The performance of the V/Sb/Ce/Ti was obviously increased with the introduction of 500 ppm SO2. This indicated promotion of the catalytic activity due to the enhancement of acid sites and redox properties by sulfation treatment. On the basis of DRIFTs study, it was confirmed that NOx easily reacted with the adsorbed ammonia species, especially for the sulfated sample than fresh sample. The V/W/Ti shows the pathway of forming NH4HSO4 by converting SO2 to SO3 when SO2 is injected in the SCR reaction. In the case of V/Sb/Ce/Ti, in addition to this path, the second path for forming Ce2(SO4)3 proceeds by the reaction of Ce with SO2 and O2. The V/Sb/Ce/Ti can delayed the formation of NH4HSO4 because the adsorbed SO2 is consumed in the formation of Ce2(SO4)3. V/Sb/Ce/Ti was found to have excellent SO2 resistance compared to V/W/Ti.
