Morphology Development of Semifluorinated Diblock Copolymer Film via Solvent Vapor Treatment |

We have followed the time development of the well ordered striped structure in semifluorinated diblock copolymer ultrathin film via fluorinated block selective solvent vapor treatment. After preparation a film from block copolymer solution, a disordered worm likes micelle form. It is shown that only when the film exposed to fluorinated block selective solvent vapor for an appropriate time, the well-ordered packed striped micelle form. On an extended solvent vapor treatment, a mixed morphology containing spherical and stripes appears, followed by the striped morphologies. When the annealing time is long enough, the film comes back to the disordered form. |
