The most common surfactants of CNTs solutions are sodium dodecyl sulfate, sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate, and Triton X-100. In this study, we particularly experiment with using dodecyl naphthalene sulfonate. Stabilization of these CNTs in aqueous dispersions are sustained over a month at room temperature. From a variety of tests, dodecyl naphthalene sulfonate can be a good material on maintaining dispersibility. Two methods for making dispersions are based on using a horn sonicator and a high pressure homogenizer. The sample cells are carried out with air-spray and roll coating processes by the use of the above CNTs solutions. The samples are measured by 4 point probe, haze meter, scannin0g electron microscope(SEM) to analyze electronic properties and dispersion condition. As a result, we obtain CNTs films on a flexible polyethylene terephthalate(PET) substrate with a transmittance of 84.2%, a haze of 0.55 and sheet resistance of 300Ω/sq. |
