Bulk hetero junction (BHJ) polymer solar cell (PSCs) is one of the most promising field as alternative energy source. A BHJ with a large interfacial area and vertically aligned charge pathways may be constructed through any of several fabrication methods. Nano-imprinting of structures or the self-assembly of monolayers can be used to form well-ordered or gradient nanostructures that improve the charge collection efficiency. Unfortunately, these fabrication processes are too difficult and expensive for large-area fabrication approaches. So in this presentation, we develop a novel method for modulating the compositions of BHJs along the vertical direction to achieve a large interfacial area between the P3HT and PCBM domains via the addition of small amounts of a novel additive. |
