제목 The Effect of Photocatalytic Ammonia Decomposition Using Electrodeposited TiO2
초록 The importance of sustainable green development worldwide is increasing. The aquaculture wastewater discharged from the domestic aquaculture industry using seawater contains a large amount of ammonia accumulated in the water as ammonia produced as a by-product in the course of life activity for cultured fish to obtain energy. It is essential to lower the ammonia content because it causes problems with the marine ecosystem if it is discharged without diminishing the ammonia content. Also, if the ammonia content is sufficiently low, water can be reused by further treatment of impurities, thereby reducing the use of water resources. In the aquaculture industry, a photocatalyst is used to lower the ammonia content. In general, TiO2 is deposited on the photocatalyst. TiO2 is a primary material of photocatalytic material and generally exists in pure Anatase phase. TiO2 has a bandgap reduction by adjusting the band alignment of the heterojunction formed between the anatase phase and the rutile phase, rather than when it is present in the pure anatase phase. This results in a higher photocatalytic material with higher optical activity. Currently, TiO2 is deposited by various methods such as CVD, PVD and Dr.Blade method and used as a catalyst. In this experiment, the photocatalyst was fabricated by electrodeposition of TiO2 on the substrate surface. Electrodeposition method has the advantage of high thickness morphology control, possibility to homogeneously coat, direct formation on the conductive substrate. Therefore, higher quality TiO2 photocatalyst can be produced through electrodeposition. S / S and FTO were selected as substrates, and the experiment was conducted. The ammonia decomposition performance was compared with the samples prepared by using the optimum conditions and the other deposition methods.
