제목 | Synthesis of Low Molecular Weight Biscabazole-based Hole-transporting Materials for ssDSSC |
초록 | DSSC doesn't use expensive rare earth metals, so it is theoretically low in manufacturing cost and shows excellent performance in scattered or weak light. However, volatility of liquid electrolytes can cause serious environmental problems, and considerable efforts have been made on ssDSSC to replace existing liquid electrolyte systems. In this study, Both compounds were successfully synthesized and structural integrity was confirmed by 1H and 13C NMR. Maximum UV-PL peaks were observed at 306nm and 425nm for bis[N-(2-ethylhexyl)-carbazole-3-yl], and at 306nm and 425nm for bis[N-(2-ethylhexyloxylphenyl)-carbazole-3-yl], respectively. From the optical and electrochemical characterization, bandgap, HOMO-LUMO energy levels were measured to be 3.04eV, -5.52eV, and -2.48eV for bis[N-(2-ethylhexyl)-carbazole-3-yl], and 3.05eV, -5.61eV, and -2.56eV for bis[N-(2-ethylhexyloxylphenyl)-carbazole-3-yl]. The synthesized bis(carbazole) derivatives were preliminary investigated as a HTM to ssDSSCs. |
