Electron beam irradiation effects on biodegradable poly(butadiene succinate) films |

In this study, we report on the electron beam irradiation effects on the chemical, thermal, and mechanical properties of poly(butadiene succinate) (PBS). The PBS film prepared by solution casting was irradiated at various absorption doses. The irradiated PBS film was investigated in terms of its crosslinking degree, chemical structure, thermal and tensile properties. The PBS was crossslinked and its crosslinking degree depended upon the dose. The formation of crosslinked networks in the PBS showed a considerable effect on the thermal and tensile properties of the PBS. |
