제목 | Surface modified porous PTFE / Sulfonated poly(ether ether ketone) composite membrane for PEMFC applications |
초록 | Porous PTFE reinforcement by Nafion was studied due to their similar main chain structure and better compatibility. Up to now, fewer papers had been mentioned PTFE reinforced hydrocarbon polymer composite membrane for PEMFC application. but low surface energy and chemical inertness of PTFE inhibit the adhesion and impregnate of none fluorinated main chain polymer. In this study, main idea is to decrease the chemical inertia of PTFE substarate and enhance the combination status between hydrophilic hydrocarbon polymer and hydrophobic PTFE substrate. Sulfonated poly(ether ether ketone) is chosen as the proton conductivity polymer due to excellent physical properties, controlling the degree of sulfonation and easy synthesis method. the porous PTFE film was treated by chemical modification. and this treatment improve hydrophilicity of PTFE surface. In this test, FT-IR, water contact angle, XPS for hydrophilicity of surface modified porous PTFE, proton conductivity, SEM, EDX for Surface modified porous PTFE / Sulfonated poly(ether ether ketone) composite membrane were carried out to investigate. |
