Supramolecular polyurethane/urea that owes their mechanical properties primarily to the reversible, non-covalent interactions such as hydrogen bonding interactions and π-π bonding interactions. There are many strong non-covalent interactions between the supramolecular polyurethane/urea and graphene oxide (GO). The multiple hydrogen bonding of urethane/urea groups and the π-π bonding interactions between GO and 4,4’-methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) form particularly strong physical cross-link, viz., thermoreversible rubbers. This study presents the effect of GO particle on infrared light-absortion self-healing behaviors of this type of supramolecular materials. |
