제목 Thermo-sensitive Poly(N-isopropylacrylamide-co-polyurethane) Hydrogel
초록 N-isopropylacrylamide (NIPAM) shows a lower critical solution temperature (LCST) at 32℃ in aqueous solution. The thermo-responsive behavior of NIPAM was extensively investigated and modeled by different researchers.
In this study, a series of AB crosslinked polymer dispersions have been synthesized from polyurethane (PU) (polymer A) and NIPAM (polymer B). PU was prepared from MDI and PEG1000, and was subsequently dispersed in water. The effect of PU/NIPAM composition have been studied in terms of transmission electron microscopy (TEM), dynamic thermal mechanical properties (DMTA), particle sizer (PCS), mechanical properties (UTM), equilibrium swelling ratio, dynamic swelling ratio and dynamic deswelling ratio at various temperature. A core(PU)-shell(NIPAM) morphology with very fine dispersion was obtained. The co-polymer behaviors thermo-sensitively at various temperature.
