Generally, urethane acrylate oligomers are synthesized by the reaction of polyester polyol with diisocyanate and capped by acrylate. To achieve the optimum water-vapor permeability in film, urethane acrylate oligomers using a polyester polyols such as adipic acid(AA)/1,4-butandiol(BD) and adipic acid(AA)/neopentyl glycol(NPG) were synthesized and their thin films were prepared by addition of IBOA and photoinitiator in the presence of UV-raditaion. The urethane acrylate oligomer’s structure was characterized by NMR and FT-IR. Thermal and mechanical properties of the cured films were also investigated using DSC, TGA and tensile strength. In this study, we mainly report the influence of polyol ratio on water-vapor permeability and mechanical properties. |
