제목 High barrier property of hybrid polymer coatings based on poly(vinyl alcohol)/Oligomers of similar structure.
초록 Food packaging is a critical technology addressing the ever increasing demands for convenience, freshness, ease, shelf life, safety and security of food products. The main purpose of food packaging is to protect the food from microbial and chemical contamination, oxygen, water vapour and light. With the significant increase in packaged commodities, the plastic industry has grown constantly in the last few years. The main reasons for the replacement of conventional packaging materials (paper and glass) with plastics are mechanical strength, flexibility and, most importantly, barrier properties. Because plastics are man-made, there is an array of combinations and possibilities, such as cross linking, copolymerization and others, which has almost replaced conventional packaging materials. In this work, we have tried to improve of barrier property by using oligomer of different structure (linear, branch).
