제목 A study on thermal properties of Si-Zr-C fiber at 1500oC in air atmosphere
초록 Silicon-based non-oxide ceramic carbide fiber is one of the leading candidate ceramic materials for engineering applications because of its excellent mechanical properties in high temperature and good chemical resistance. Si-Zr-C fibers were fabricated from polyzirconocarbosilane using an electrospinning technique. And electron beam was irradiated on the fibers for the structural crosslinking. Crosslinked Si-Zr-C fibers were been heat treatment 1300oC in Ar atmosphere. Subsequently, Si-Zr-C fibers were heat treated at 1500oC in air atmosphere for 5 hour. Characteristics of the Si-Zr-C fibers were investigated by SEM, EDS, XRD and TGA analysis.
