Organic solar cells with high efficiency are commonly using halogenated solvents such as chloroform, chlorobenzene and o-dichlorobenzene. However, halogenated solvents are very toxic and harmful to human and environment. In addition, all polymer solar cells (all-PSCs) have been recently investigated because it is easy to control the energy level of polymer and stability of all-PSCs by tuning the chemical structure of polymers. We reports the photovoltaic properties of our all-PSCs based on the combination of various p-type and n-type polymers as photoactive layers, which were fabricated by using halogenated solvents and additives. Our results demonstrated that the all-PSCs using non-halogenated solvent systems can perform better than halogenated solvent based PSCs. |
