Using surface functionalization with bioactive ligands has recently used to study the interactions between cells. To investigate the activity of cells such as adhesion, proliferation, motility and networking including neuronal cells, we developed new polymer films, which have the ability for controlling cell-adhesion. The polymer coatings were fabricated by nanoscale-polymer blending, and possessed cell-adhesive and cell-resistant surfaces. We have found the influence of the microarchitecture of the film and geometry of the pattern on the neuronal cell networking and motility. |
