제목 Propylene/1-hexene copolymerization using various nano-space confined metallocene Polypropylene catalyst
초록 Metal–Organic Frameworks (MOFs) are crystalline open network structures built up by the assembly of discrete metal cations or clusters of metal cations. The highly ordered pore and/or channel structures of MOFs offer novel opportunities to prepare ordered arrays of functional molecules and clusters. In this study, metallocene Polypropylene catalyst with methylaluminoxane (MAO) as cocatalyst was synthesized using different supports, namely MIL-53 (Al) (nanoporous MOF), SBA-15 (mesoporous), and amorphous silica. The metallocene PP catalyst was used in propylene-hexene copolymerization. The effect of nano-space on the catalyst performance, and polymer morphology was investigated.
