제목 programmable fabrication of sub-micron bent pillar structures by adopting photo-responsive azopolymer
초록 We present a simple yet programmable method for fabricating sub-micron bent/slanted pillar structures. In this work, we introduce a novel approach which is adopting photo-responsive azobenzene polymer, poly (disperse orange 3) (PDO3). Photo-fluidization of azobenzene polymer materials has provided unprecedented opportunities for the structural reconfiguration. By exploiting the field-gradient effect and directionality of photo-fluidization, this approach can give us a precise geometrical controllability, resulting in various shape and degree of bent pillars. Moreover, fabricating bent pillar structures can be transferred to other widely used molding material such like PDMS, PUA, SU8, etc. We believe that this approach give simple, pragmatic way to fabricate bent pillars in many related applications and diverse industry interests.
