제목 Photosensitizer loaded carbon dot to utilizing cancer therapy
초록  Photosensitizers (PS) induce cancer cell death through generated singlet oxygen and reactive oxygen species when laser irradiation. Tumor cell can secrete damage-associated molecular patterns (DAMPs) during death via photodynamic therapy (PDT). Therefore, PDT can be utilized as immunogenic cell death inducer.
 The carbon dots have lots of advance such as low toxicity, good water solubility and biocompatibility. Also, carbon dots could easily modify surface. In this study we developed PS loaded pH sensitive carbon dot (PS@c-dot) to release and accumulated PS into tumor site. We demonstrated that accumulation PS@c-dot to tumor site via enhanced permeability and retention effect. The PS@c-dot induces not only cancer cell death but also immune response through PDT. Therefore, the PS@c-dot could eradicate metastasis tumor through immune response.
