Polymers are applied in the various fields because of their many advantages. However, damages of material are inevitably formed. Inspired by nature, self-healing materials have attracted attention. In this study, the self-healable polymethacrylate derivatives using the Diels-Alder reaction was synthesized. Self-healing materials have disadvantage that mechanical properties are low. Therefore, graphene oxide was introduced to self-healable polymethacrylate matrix. Graphene oxide was modified to prevent aggregation phenomenon. The modified graphene oxide was participated in the Diels-Alder reaction. The analysis and characterization of self-healable nanocomposite will be presented at the conference. |
