Effect of N- and O- donor of α-diimine Ni(II) complexeson ethylene oligomerization / polymerization. |
초록 |
Late transition metal catalysts for oligomerization and polymerization of olefins have become a topic of special interest in both academics and industrial sectors. Various Schiff base ligands have been intensively studied based on their easy preparation and promising catalytic properties of their late transition metal complexes. The main advantage of late transition metal catalyst is their low oxophilicity towards polar monomers during polymerization. Following this new trend we would like to report the synthesis and ethylene oligomerization behavior of cobalt and nickel complexes supported by a new family of pendant donor-modified a-diimine ligands. The donor (N, O) substituent is linked to a-diimine by a short hydrocarbon spacer forming a tridentate ligand structure. The tridentate ligands are assembled from monoimine precursors, the latter being synthesized by selective reaction with one carbonyl group of the a-dione. |
