Conjugated polymers are highly suitable for low-cost and solution fabrication of flexible and large-area devices. Rational design of the components of D−A is a prerequisite for developing high-performance optoelectronic devices, because it strongly affects the frontier orbital energy levels and the π-orbital overlap, and consequently affects the molecular coplanarity, packing geometries, and intra- or intermolecular interactions of the resulting polymers. The delicate controlled 3D-morphology can give rise to significant effects on high performing organic solar cells by boosting efficient charge separation and collection. Also, the control of inter-molecular interaction is the key factor. Herein, we report on a series of new active materials and demonstrate well-defined interconnected morphology via intermolecular interaction. |
