제목 Hydrogenolysis of glycerol to propylene glycol on Cu/Al2O3 based catalysts prepared using microwave process
초록 Hydrogenolysis of biomass-derived glycerol is an alternative route to sustainable production of propylene glycol. hydrogenolysis of glycerol to propylene glycol was performed on various Cu/Al2O3-based catalysts prepared using microwave process.
The physicochemical properties of the catalysts were studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD), NH3 temperature programmed desorption (TPD), BET surface area. The conversion of glycerol with selectivity toward propylene glycol and yield in product was obtained by gas chromatography(GC) measurement.
