Preparation of cellulose triacetate from pulps containing various α-cellulose contents |
초록 |
Abstract : The various cellulose triacetates were prepared with different pulps that have different α-cellulose contents. The acetylation was carried out under heterogeneous system in acetic acid. Acetic anhydride and perchloric acid were respectively used as reactant and catalyst. The degree of substitution (DS) of product was measured by titration method and the degree of polymerization (DP) was calculated with viscometric data. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) was used to confirm the chemical structure of the product and x-ray diffractometer (XRD) was used to obtain the relative crystallinity index (RCI). The DS of all products was over 2.8 but two cellulose triacetes prepared from pulps which contain 87.3% and 86.0% of α-cellulose content were insoluble in methylene chloride/methanol (90:10) solvent. |
