Behavior of nematic liquid crystals on graphite flakes |
| 초록 |
The thin layer thickness and the crystal structure of the graphite flake or graphene induce specific nematic liquid crystal behavior. Here we would like to show two examples: The relation of the director orientation and the boundary type of the graphite flake and the change of the liquid crystal tilt angle with different layer thickness. We expect the nematic liquid crystal can be used as a tool for characterizing the graphite flake. |
