제목 Fabrication of hybrid Hydrogels as Highly Efficient Adsorbents for Wastewater Treatment
초록 We cannot survive or develop without water, which is a resource that is fundamental to human survival and growth. There is indeed a high degree of effectiveness in adsorption for handling wastewater, especially when it comes to removing organic pollutants. Our study presents the preparation of a biopolymer based hybrid hydrogels as an adsorbent for wastewater treatment using eco-friendly biopolymer. Hydrogel hybrids display high removal capacity against different contaminants. Adsorption isotherms, kinetic models, and thermodynamic parameters are also discussed. Moreover, plausible mechanisms were outlined for adsorption of dyes onto novel adsorbents. In addition, the samples can be regenerated and recycled over multiple adsorption and washing cycles without losing their capacity to remove contaminants.
