제목 Chemically Robust Ambipolar Organic Transistor Array Patterned by Photolithography Process
초록 The instability of organic semiconductors and the unbalanced charge transport of electrons and holes have impeded their commercialization. Here, we report the preparation of organic ambipolar transistor arrays on a flexible plastic substrate, using a chemically robust polymer semiconductor, diketopyrrolopyrrole-selenophene copolymer with siloxane-terminated side chains. Well-balanced ambipolar charge transport was achieved by introducing graphene electrodes, due to the reduced contact resistance and energetic barrier between the electrode and semiconductor for electron transport. Hole and electron mobilities of the fabricated transistors with graphene electrodes showed dramatic enhancement, compared to those of gold electrodes. The devices operated even after being soaked in organic solvents for 24 h, and could be utilized as chemical sensor platforms. Our results represent a significant step towards the commercialisation of organic electronics via conventional photolithography.
