제목 Fiber Electrodes for High-Performance Wearable Micro-supercapacitors
초록 With the wearable portable electronics becoming increasingly widespread in our daily lives, there is ever an increasing demand for high performance fiber micro-supercapacitors for power supply. In this work, we report the strategies of improving electrochemical performances of fiber micro-supercapacitors that are driven by Joule heating process or self-assembly of colloidal crystal. When assembled into symmetrical two-electrode cells, the fiber micro-supercapacitor electrodes deliver exceptional volumetric capacitance even at a high current density and long cycle lives. Based on electrochemical impedance spectroscopy analysis, it is revealed that high electrochemical properties are attributed to fast response kinetics. The fiber electrodes also demonstrate excellent storage performance under mechanical deformation—for example, bending-straightening cycles. Thus, these fiber electrodes are promising for applications in high-performance energy storages for wearable microelectronics.
