제목 | Strategies to enhance the performance of stimuli-responsive smart fluids |
초록 | Stimuli-responsive smart fluids, such as electro-responsive (ER) and magneto-responsive (MR) fluids, have attracted a substantial interest because of their characteristic features and sufficient probability for commercialization. Several parameters, including dielectric constants, electrical conductivity, volume fraction, geometrical feature of dispersed materials, and electric/magnetic field strengths, affect the performances of smart fluids. Therefore, studies on the effects of these parameters to ER/MR efficiencies and performances have a significant importance for achieving practical commercialization.
