제목 Polyketal as a stimuli-responsive polymer for biomedical applications
초록 Polymers that are responsive to pathological stimuli have been of great interest in biomedical applications. Among those, polymers containing a ketal linkage offer rapid degradation under a mildly acidic condition, ease of synthesis, and flexibility in controlling their physical, chemical, and biological properties. In this talk, examples of polyketals's application for a broad range of biomedical applications, including gene/drug delivery, optical imaging, and biotechnique will be introduced. Particularly, the roles of interdisciplinary approaches to addressing key challenges in biomedical applications using rationally designed polymers will also be discussed.
