제목 Analysis of Cost and Carbon Emission for prospective Hydrogen Carriers of Massive Seaborne Transport
초록 Conceptual hydrogen supply chains that applies the technologies; Liquid Hydrogen, Liquid Organic Hydrogen carrier (LOHC), Ammonia, Synthetic natural gas (SNG) are designed. The hydrogen supply costs of each chain are compared by Levelized Cost of Hydrogen (LCOH) and the CO2 emissions of each chain are calculated and compared by Life-Cycle Assessment (LCA). Conditioning/Re-conditioning processes which are the step of physical/chemical conversion of hydrogen were designed with process simulation and applied to the analysis. As a result, the Conditioning/Re-conditioning processes take high percentage of LCOH and CO2 emissions. Especially, the electricity of compressors and heat source for reactor temperature are the major factor of Conditioning/Reconditioning processes. Furthermore, the sensitivity analysis is conducted about changing energy demands of Conditioning/Re-conditioning processes. From these results, it indirectly suggests which technology has a good prospect.
