제목 | Extremely Uniform Graphene Oxide Thin Film as a Universal Platform for One-Step Biomaterial Patterning |
초록 | Graphene oxide (GO) has proven to be a highlypromising material across various biomedical research avenues. However,creating a uniform GO coating as a thin layer has been considered challengingowing to the intrinsic variability of the size and shape of GO. Herein, a newmethod is introduced that enables highly uniform GO thin filmfabrication. By optimizing the composition of the GO suspension and preheatingprocess to the substrates, the “coffee-ring effect” is significantlysuppressed. After applying a postsmoothing process referred to as thelow-oxygen concentration/low electrical energy plasma treatment, GO isconverted to small fragments with a film thickness of up to 5.1±0.6 nm. The uniform GO thin film can also be generated asperiodic micropatterns on polymer substrates, which are effective in one-step patterning of both antibodies and cancer cells. Therefore, it can beconcluded that the developed UGTF is useful for various graphene-basedbiological applications. |
