The Heavy Metal Removal with MnOX Carbon Nano Composite Electrode in Capacitive Deionization |

CDI attracted as alternative desalination process is largely affected on performance by the selection of functional electrodes. In this study, we synthesized MnOx to activated carbon in order to find out the heavy metal removal effect of the composite electrode. MnOx enhances the wettability of electrode and decrease an electrode resistance. We compared composite electrode with electrode used only activated carbon by observing the removal ratio of heavy metal. |
