제목 The performance of Zn/Ni battery using NixZn(1-x)O as anodic material to suppress Zn dendrite
초록 the redox flow batteries (RFBs) has been focused as promising electric enery storage device and studied. In this study, the Zn/Ni redox couple’s  properties have been investigated. The nanoparticles of ZnO and NixZn(1-x)O were synthesized by sol-gel method adding Oxalic acid as chelate agent. XRD, TEM, SEM, EDX, CV, and galvanostat charge-discharge cycle test were used in this study. The cells using pure ZnO and NixZn(1-x)O show efficiencies of 90 % above during entire cycle. Simultaneously, The more Ni ion had been added, the more Zn and ZnO dendrite were suppressed. However, there was an efficiency’s drop according to Ni content. Considering the conflicting factors, NixZn(1-x)O of 0.1 mol% is the most appropri-ate cell among the others.
