Nobel Metal Nanoparticles on WS2 Nanosheets for Photocatalyzed Organic Reactions |

We demonstrated a simple approach for synthesis of WS2 nanosheets bearing several kinds of noble metal nanoparticles (mNPs) as photocatalysts for Suzuki cross-coupling reactions. WS2/mNPs hybrids were prepared by reducing metal precursors on the surface of WS2 nanosheets under mild conditions. The density of mNPs on the WS2 surface were effectively tuned by varying the ratio of the precursors against WS2 nanosheets. The obtained WS2/mNPs hybrids were then successfully applied to photocatalyzed Suzuki cross-coupling reactions. |
