제목 | Surface-treatedV2O5-WO3/SiO2-TiO2 for NH3-SCR Reaction with SO2 and H2O Resistant over a Wide Temperature Range |
초록 | Nitrogen oxides (NOx) emitted from stationarysource cause environmental pollution problems such as acid rain, smog, andfine dust. Regulations on NOx emissions have been naturally tightened worldwide, and efficient NOx abatementcan be obtained by using SCR catalyst with commercial component, V2O5-WO3/TiO2. It is, however, that narrow temperature range of 300-400°C and ammonium salts easily deactivate the catalyst by oxidizingSO2 to SO3 in flue gas. Furthermore, presence of H2Oaccelerates above phenomenon by reacting SO3 with H2O asH2SO4. Inthis study, SiO2 was added to widenthe active temperature to 150-450℃ and to develop resistance to SO2and H2O. The catalyst,modifying V2O5-WO3/TiO2 to V2O5-WO3/SiO2-TiO2,were used to analyze phase and surface area changes forsurface property analysis.With the addition of SiO2, the catalyst had a high specific surfacearea, resistance to SO2 and H2O, and exhibited excellentcatalytic activity over the wide temperature window. |
