Ultraviloet (UV)-curable electrolytes have attracted much attention because of chemical stability without solvent. We developed a novel UV-curable LiFSI electrolyte based on oxydimethanol, acryloly chloride and fluorosulfonyl isocyante, (FSO2NCO) for lithium batteries. The acryl functional group activates UV curing to gel state and the fluorosulfonyl group reacts with LDA (lithiumdiisopropylimide) giving LiFSI functional group. After UV-curing of the substance, gel type polymer electrolyte resulted in viscous liquid and film. The resulting electrolyte can enhance the movement of Li+ -ions inside the polymer matrix demonstrate mechanical integrity due to the cross-linked nature of the polymer network, and wide thermal stability. We studied the fundamental analysis and electrical analysis for Li battery. Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) are employed to characterize the electrolytes. |
