Toswitch the prevailing noble-metal-based catalysts, developed with highly efficient electrocatalysts for hydrogen evolution reaction and electrochemical sensor isa great demand. We synthesized a novel binary transition metal oxide NiO/SnO 2 via chemical precipitation technique. To determine the catalytic activityof transition metal oxide the molar ratio of NiO was varied from 0.2, 0.4, 0.6,and 0.8 M where the concentration of SnO remains same. On compared to othermodified electrodes and unmodified GCE, the lower overpotential in HER and higher redox current with lower cathodic and anodic potential was detected in the combination for 0.4:0.2 M ratio of NiO/SnO 2 . Thus from theresult, 0.4 M of NiO with 0.2 M of SnO 2is perceived to betterperform towards HER and dopamine electrochemical sensor . |
