제목 Iron oxide (Fe2O3)-based carbon nanotube photocatalyst for enhanced methyl orange degradation​
초록 Hematite (α-Fe2O3) is a common visible responsive transition metal oxide. However, the high photogenerated electron-hole recombination rate low diffusion length, and VB positioning make the relative lower solar energy conversion efficiency. Therefore, the improvement of the carrier transfer rate is the one of most effective strategies for enhancing the sunlight conversion efficiency of photocatalysts. In this study, we prepared Fe2O3-decorated carbon nanotubes (Fe2O3-CNTs) by deposition of Fe2O3 on thiolated carbon nanotube (CNT) surfaces. The photocatalytic activities of Fe2O3-CNT catalysts were evaluated under UV-visible irradiation of MO (methyl orange) degradation.​
