Improved photovoltaic properties of dye-sensitized solar cells with Zn(NO3)2-modified photoelectrodes |
초록 |
The surface of a TiO2 photoelectrode was modified through a dip-coating process using an aqueous zinc nitrate [Zn(NO3)2] solution to retard the interfacial charge recombination between TiO2 and electrolyte. The Zn(NO3)2-modified TiO2 electrode was applied to the photoanode of the dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). The DSSC with the Zn(NO3)2-modified TiO2 electrode exhibited a short-circuit current (Jsc) of 12.76 mA/cm2 and an open-circuit voltage (Voc) of 622 mV, compared with a Jsc of 12.06 mA/cm2 and Voc of 584 mV for a reference device with a pristine TiO2 electrode. |
