SMB 공정에서 온도의 영향 |
초록 |
The principles of simulated moving bed (SMB) and thermal swing adsorption (TSA) are combined to develop an improved thermally assisted SMB with two-feeds. A five-zone SMB is studied for separating binary systems with linear isotherms. The local equilibrium theory is used to determine the design parameters and operating conditions. Simulations were performed for the separation of toluene /xylene dissolved in n-heptane which is also the desorbent and silica gel as the adsorbent. The advantages of a thermally assisted SMB system are that no additional desorbent is required to achieve higher purities and the system can readily be scaled up. |
