제목 Adhesion Performance of Acrylic PSAs Using Different Curing Agents
초록 Acrylic pressure sensitive adhesives are inherently tacky, colorless polymers that are resistant to oxidation and the attendant problems of discoloration and loss of tack upon aging. Also they are amenable to cross-linking via a range of chemical reactions. There are two types of curing agents. One is isocyanate type, the other is methyl aziridine type. The difference between them is that while isocyanate type reacts with hydroxyl groups of polymers, methyl aziridine one reacts with carboxyl groups. The aim of this study is to confirm adhesion performance of acrylic PSAs using different curing agent through peel strength and probe tack. We conclude that peel strength and probe tack are main performance of PSA concerning crosslinking density. And crosslinking density and curing rate of methyl aziridine type are larger than those of isocyanate type. At last, through strain-stress curve, crosslinking density is more and more larger with aziridine contents.
