Chemical Synthesis of PEDOT@rGO for Supercapacitor Applications |

Using of graphene composites as electrode materials for energy storage devices are rapidly increasing in this decade. In this study, we demonstrate the high performance supercapacitive properties of chemically prepared PEDOT@rGO nanohybrid structures using aqueous electrolytes. Physico-chemical characterizations such as XRD analysis, and FTIR spectroscopy reveals the formation of PEDOT@rGO with good stoichiometry. The CV and EIS analyses revealed the presence of ideal capacitive properties of the PEDOT@rGO electrode. The PEDOT@rGO electrode possesses a specific capacitance of about 289 F g-1 obtained from charge-discharge analysis using a current density of 0.5 mA cm-2 using a three-electrode configuration. The experimental results elucidate the potential use of PEDOT@rGO nanohybrid structures as an electrode material for high performance supercapacitor devices. 2019년 한국교통대학교 지원을 받아 수행하였음. |
